Collaborate with key university employees to identify the direction and growth needs of the LMS and associated systems and develop
policies that suppmi the LMS environment; Partner with faculty and staff in the development of online and hybrid courses; Apply the Quality
Matters rubric through the course development process; Provide training in traditional classroom setting, online and informal settings;
Responsible for synchronous and asynchronous of multimedia communication systems (i.e. WebEx and Mediasite); Training of faculty, staff
and students in technology use; Designs and develops customized documentation and deliver scheduled pedagogically sound, small group
training sessions; Other duties as assigned.
This position is located in Instructional Technology and Learning Management (ITLM) area ofthe Office oflnformation Technology and
reports to the Director of TLM and the Vice President for Information Technology.

Special Qualifications:
Education: Master's Degree in Education Technology, Instructional Design or related field or a bachelor's degree in a related discipline with
3-5 years of experience supporting a complex online training program or comparable experience supporting the training requirements of a
complex organization; a degree in Education Technology, Instructional Technology, or Computer Science preferred.
Experience/Skills: Three or more years of experience in the development of online materials and demonstrated use of"best practices" in
content development; experience developing and delivering training classes; Ability to work on energetic team and meet deadlines; Extensive
knowledge of Learning Management Systems and online learning- Angel 7.0+, Blackboard, Moodie is preferred; Excellent computer skills
including in depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, digital video editing software and other multimedia packages;
Ability to explain technical details in an easy to understand way and demonstrated ability to efficiently multitask; Extensive knowledge of both
Mac and PC Desktop platforms is preferred; Membership in International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) is preferred.
