2005-2006

Celebrating 15 Years of Success!

The Ashland Foreign Language Alliance is a network designed to bring together teachers on an on-going basis to discuss issues in foreign language education.   AFLA has been an active alliance since 1991.   Optional graduate credit will be offered through Ashland University for teachers who attend all meetings.  The cost for one graduate hour is $160.  Please join us as we continue to learn ways to provide the best foreign language instruction possible.

In the April, 2005, meeting, Debbie Wilburn Robinson from the Ohio Department of Education joined us to review Ohio's Academic Content Standards for Foreign Languages.  Alliance teachers worked in groups to identify lesson plans that would correspond to the standards.
