ACLS Humanities E-Book (formerly History E-book Project) includes almost 1000 titles selected by historians in the fields of American, Asian, European, and Middle Eastern history, and the history of technology. Humanities E-Book is a digital collection offered by the ACLS in collaboration with ten learned societies, nearly 80 contributing publishers, and librarians at the University of Michigan’s Scholarly Publishing Office. The result is an online, fully searchable collection of high-quality books in the Humanities, recommended and reviewed by scholars and featuring unlimited multi-user access and free, downloadable MARC records.

Academic Search Complete, designed specifically for academic institutions, is the world's most valuable and comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 5,300 full-text periodicals, including 4,400 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 9,300 journals and a total of 10,900 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1865, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format.

Agricola is compiled by the U.S. National Agricultural Library (NAL). This comprehensive source of bibliographic information consists of over 2.5 million citations to journal articles, monographs, theses, patents, software, audio-visual materials, and technical reports. The records describe publications and resources encompassing all aspects of agriculture and allied disciplines including plant and animal sciences, forestry, entomology, soil and water resources, agricultural economics, agricultural engineering, agricultural products, alternative farming practices, and food and nutrition. Auxiliary subjects that support NAL's Information Center activities, such as agricultural trade and marketing, rural information, and animal welfare are also included in the database. Coverage for AGRICOLA dates back to 1970.

American Chemical Society Journals.  Currently, over 30 magazines and peer-reviewed journals are published or co-published by the Publications Division of the American Chemical Society . Approximately 140,000 pages of research material are published annually both in print and on the Web, along with another 90,000 pages of additional Supporting Information available on the Web. This site publishes the full run of electronic text available for each of the ACS's journal.

America: History and Life published by ABC-CLIO provides historical coverage of the United States and Canada from prehistory to the present. The database comprises about 400,000 entries and provides coverage fro 1964 to the present. Useful for research in history, interdisciplinary studies, popular culture, multicultural studies, American studies, women's studies/gender studies, anthropology, literature/folklore, sociology, genealogy, and the history of science, economics, business, education, music, art, and law.

 American National Bibliography is a biographical resource on more than 18,000 people from all eras who have influenced and shaped American history and culture. The ANB Online features thousands of illustrations, more than 80,000 hyperlinked cross-references, links to select web sites, and powerful search capabilities. Also included are over 900 articles from The Oxford Companion to United States History, which provides information on the landmark events in U.S. history and gives context to the lives included in ANB Online. All articles originally included in the ANB Online were on biographical subjects who died before the end of 1995. Articles on important figures who have died since 1995 are being added in quarterly updates, but coverage of people in this category is not yet complete.

 American Periodical Series contains digitized images of the pages of American magazines and journals that originated between 1741, when Andrew Bradford's American Magazine and Benjamin Franklin's General Magazine were launched, and 1900. Deriving from the acclaimed American Periodicals Series microform collection, APS Online features over 1,100 periodicals spanning nearly 200 years-from colonial times to the advent of American involvement in World War II. Titles range from America's first scientific journal, Medical Repository, to popular magazines like Vanity Fair and Ladies' Home Journal.

ARTFL (Project for American and French Research on the Treasury of the Foreign Language) is a cooperative project between the Centre National de la recherche Scientifique and the University of Chicago. The full-text database contains nearly 2,000 texts, ranging from classic works of French literature to various kinds of non-fiction prose and technical writing. The seventeenth, eigtheenth, nineteenth, and twentieth centuries are all represened with a smaller selection of medieval and Renaissance texts.

Arts and Humanites Citation Index (ISI) is a multidisciplinary database covering the journal literature of the arts and humanities. It indexes over 1,100 of the world's leading arts and humanities journals, as well as covering individually selected, relevant items from over 7,000 major science and social science journals. A&HCI also provides access to an article's cited references or the footnotes from an author's bibliography. Cited items may be critical in nature or original creative works (novels, poems, works of philosophy, paintings, musical compositions, etc.).

ATLA Religion Database with ATLASerials is the full text version of the ATLA Religion Database (ATLA). This database is a collection of major religion and theology journals selected by some of the major religion scholars in the United States. Coverage of this database dates back to 1949.

ATLA Serials (ATLAS) is an online collection of major religion and theology journals selected by leading religion scholars and theologians. Users can read articles or  research the history of a topic from 1949 to the present. Currently, researchers are able to use the ATLA Religion Database as a search tool to retrieve images of the pages in more than fifty different journals. In the second phase, page images will be supplemented with fully searchable texts of the articles (XML). Furthermore, during the second phase, images and  indexing coverage will be extended back to the original publication date of each journal.

As part of the comprehensive coverage offered by this database, indexing and abstracts for the most important scholarly business journals back to 1886 are included. Chicano Database identifies all types of material on Mexican-American topics and about Chicanos. Updated quarterly, the Chicano Database covers at least 1967 to the present, with more than 48,000 records. Records added since 1992 have expanded its scoop to include the broader Latino experience, including Puerto Ricans, Cuban Americans, and Central American immigrants. The Chicano Database also includes the Spanish Speaking Mental Health Database, covering psychological, sociological, and educational literature.

Offering complete coverage of English-language nursing journals and publications from the National League for Nursing and the American Nurses' Association, CINAHL Plus with Full Text covers nursing, biomedicine, health sciences librarianship, alternative/complementary medicine, consumer health and 17 allied health disciplines. In addition, this database offers access to health care books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, educational software, audiovisuals and book chapters, as well as Evidence-Based Care Sheet. Combined Health Information Database (CHID) is a database produced by health-related agencies of the Federal Government. This database provides titles, abstracts, and availability information for health information and health education resources. CHID lists a wealth of health promotion and education materials and program descriptions that are not indexed elsewhere. New records are added quarterly and current listings are checked regularly to help ensure that all entries are up to date and still available from their original sources. Some older records are retained for archival purposes. CHID is updated four times a year.

 Communication & Mass Media Complete, like Communication & Mass Media Index, provides the most robust, quality research solution in areas related to communication and mass media. CMMC incorporates CommSearch (formerly produced by the National Communication Association) and Mass Media Articles Index (formerly produced by Penn State) along with numerous other journals to create a research and reference resource of unprecedented scope and depth in the communication and mass media fields. CMMC offers cover-to-cover (“core”) indexing and abstracts for over 300 journals, and selected (“priority”) coverage of over 100 more, for a combined coverage of over 400 titles. Furthermore, this database includes full text for nearly 200 journals. CQ Reseacher reports are published weekly in print and online 44 times a year by CQ Press, a division of Congressional Quarterly Inc.  Reports typically cover issues in health, social trends, criminal justice, international affairs, education, the environment, technology, and the economy. Each single-themed, 12,000 word report provides an introductory overview; background and chronology on the topic; an assessment of the current situation; tables and maps; pro/con statements from representatives of opposing positions; and bibliographies of key sources.

EBSCO Animals (for elementary school students) provides thousands of easy-to-read entries about mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, dinosaurs and prehistoric animals. Economía y Negocios is the result of a collaborative effort between EBSCO Publishing and ESAN (Escuela de Administración de Negocios para Graduados). This continuously updated bibliographic database is an indispensable tool for research conducted in the areas of business and economics. Search functionality is enhanced through the incorporation of author keywords supplied in Spanish and English. English Prose Drama covers a chronological period of more than 450 years and contains more than 1,800 plays by approximately 400 authors from the renaissance to the end of the nineteenth centrury. The bibliographic basis is the New Cambridge Bibliography of English Literature. Environment Complete contains all of the content available in Environment Index, as well as full text for 400 journals, including many of the most used journals in the discipline, such as Environment (back to 1975), Ecologist, Conservation Biology, etc. Environment Complete also provides full text for 80 monographs, such as Encyclopedia of World Environmental History (3 volumes), Advances in Water Treatment & Environmental Management, etc. Further, the database offers full text for the conference papers of the North American Association of Environmental Education.

Foreign Language Videos currently includes the ViewPoints Project - a collection of foreign language video clips in which native speakers elaborate on a wide variety of topics about their culture, family, daily life, and more. Each video clip is accompanied by a description of its contents, the country of the speaker, and additional grammar and vocabulary notes. Videos are available in QuickTime format.
