Circulation Desk

Library circulation and reference desk is located directly across from the elevators on the main floor. All circulating items are brought to the main desk for check out. OhioLINK books may be picked up at the main desk.

Library circulation and reference desk is located directly across from the elevators on the main floor. A reference librarian is on duty for assistance during most regular hours of operation.

Copy Center

Coin operated copy machines are located next to the library reserve desk. A change machine is available next to the last stack of periodicals. If you need assistance with copy machines, ask at the reserve desk.

Interlibrary Loan

The interlibrary loan assistant is located at the reserve area.  Forms for interlibrary loan are located at the main desk.  Please ask for assistance in completing forms.

Microform Readers

AU library has an extensive collection of microfilm and microfiche materials. We are an ERIC clearing house for educational materials and also have numerous back issues of journals available in this format.

Microform assistance is available at the reference and reserve desk.

Music CD's

The AU CD collection is located on the main floor, at the beginning of the reference stacks.  CD's are cataloged and shelved in accession order. Music CD's are available for ciruclation.

Pamphlet Files

Located across from the directors office on the main floor, pamphlet files are available for students to check out. It is possible to search this collection using the library catalog.

Serials & Periodicals Collection

Library serials and periodicals collection is located on the main floor, adjacent to the reserve area. Most recent issues are shelved along the wall near the mircoforms.  Journals and periodicals are placed on the shelves alphabetically. This collection does not circulate. For assistance, consult the reference desk.

New Books & Reference

Books new to the library collection are placed in the new book area on the main floor. Located by the reference stacks, all new circulating books are available for patron usage.

Reference Collection

The AU library reference collection is housed on the main floor.  Reference items are for in-library use only. For assistance in locating texts in this collection, please consult a reference librarian.

Reserves

Materials placed "on reserve" for particular courses and professors are located at the reserve desk. Students may check out laptops for use in the library at the reserves desk. Library network printers are found by the reserve desk.
