A new book area highlights
items recently added to the collection.

AU's
juvenile collection leads off with sections
specified for Newbery and Caldecott Award winners.
These sections are labeled and have accompanying
handouts detailing award winning juvenile fiction.

Instructional
Resource Center Curriculum Textbook Annex
Directly
outside of the Instructional Resource Center
is the Curriculum Textbook Annex. It contains
K - 12 textbooks and activity books for evaluation
and classroom purposes. Circulation is restricted
to one week and available for AU students, faculty
and staff.

Resource Center
Located on the second
floor, the Instructional Resource Center has
resources and materials for education majors.
Included in this collection are materials
kits, software, audio books, videos, and a small
reference Collection. Students taking Education
131/504 utilize this area for their media lab
portfolio.

Listening
Lab
Located on the second floor,
the listening lab houses two televisions, VCR's, DVD
players, and a CD player for students to
view reserve media materials.
Also
located in the listening lab is the PBS Video
Database and DVD collection.

Rowe
Practicum Collection
Located on the
second floor, Rowe Practicum's are shelved by
year and alphabetially by author last name.
A small but growing collection of Education
Doctoral Thesis are located with this collection.

Venda
Card Copier
Located on the second
floor, this copy machine uses venda cards/copy
cards to operate. Education students may
get a card from Mrs. Vanderzyden in the Weltmer
Center. Office hours are posted with the
copy machine.
