MBA Course Registration

 

New students must complete the hard copy Registration Form (download here).

Returning students may complete the Registration Form or register online through Web Advisor.  Please read the following instructions, then select the link to Web Advisor.

WEB ADVISOR INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Log on to www.ashland.edu
  2. Place cursor over Academics
  3. Click Web Advisor
  4. Click Log In selection located in upper right corner
  5. Enter User Name, which is your student e-mail address - generally the first letter of your first name plus the first seven letters of your last name.   NOTE: To find your User Name, click on Account Information at the bottom right of the screen. Click on What's My User ID.
  6. Enter Password (First time users only - enter the last 6 digits of your social security number, then follow the prompts to create a new password.)   NOTE: If you experience login problems, do not ask for a temporary password. Instead, contact Vicki Yoho at vyoho@ashland.edu to reset password to the last six digits of your SSN.
  7. Click Students
  8. Click Register for Sections
  9. Click Search and Register for Sections (NOTE: This method is preferred over Express Registration)
  10. Select appropriate Term in drop down box
  11. Select MBA or MBA Foundations in Subject drop down box
  12. Scroll to bottom of page
  13. Optional: narrow search to desired site in Locations drop down box
  14. Press Submit
  15. Review the course listings. Course capacity and availability are listed in the Cap/Avail column. Select the boxes adjacent to desired courses. Press Submit to register.  You then are prompted for an action.   Pick RG - Register and click Submit. The screen will read "The following registrations request(s) have been processed. Registration is now complete." This is your registration confirmation – a confirmation slip will not be mailed.
  16. After registering, select Make a Payment to pay online. Students paying through Full Corporate Reimbursement, 100% Financial Aid, or AMS do not need to select Make a Payment. All other students must pay the portion of tuition for which they are responsible within 72 hours of submitting their online registration.

 

NOTE: Only returning MBA students are able to register for courses using Web Advisor. First semester students must complete the hard copy registration form included in the schedule booklet. However, all students may view the MBA schedule and course availability through this procedure:

  • Complete steps 1-3
  • Click Students
  • Click Search for Sections
  • Complete steps 10-14
