The Manufacturing Competitiveness Initiative is a member in the following organizations:

 

Ashland/Richland Collaboration Team:  This team is looking at ways area manufacturers can work together to develop products for their customers.

The IRS Small Business Forum : This forum uses outreach channels to distribute information pertaining to IRS policies, practices, and procedures. The forum solicits feedback from stakeholder organizations regarding barriers to compliance. It also partners with organizations and associations whose members, clients, or customers are small businesses in order to identify and address new and emerging issues that affect the small business community.

Richland County Chamber Logistics Team:  The team is attempting to develop a logistics project in this area.

Richland County Chamber Technology Team:  The team is looking at various technological  needs of area businesses and trying to find ways to meet those needs.

 

North Eastern Ohio Fund for Our Economic Future Loaned Staff:  The Fund for Our Economic Future is a collaboration among 80 philanthropic organizations across Northeast Ohio. Its goal is to encourage and advance an agenda for regional transformation using a three-tiered approach grant making, public engagement and ongoing research to measure economic progress throughout the region.

 

The loaned staff works at the direction of the Funding Committee and the Executive Committee and performs functions such as:
