Susan Guiher Huff completed a third commission as QEP Lead Evaluator for SACS

Susan Guiher Huff, director of the Writing Studio & instructor of English, has completed a third= commission as Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Lead Evaluator for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. She served with the SACS on-site committee at Randolph College, Asheboro, N.C., during the last week of September. Her presentations with the International Writing Centers Association and her consortium with Writing Across the Curriculum programs have given her recognition as an authority on active and productive writing center programs, hence the three invitations to serve on SACS commissions where a college's strategic plan for improvement is writing based. Sue frequently consults, and she is currently working with Union University in Richmond, Va., as adviser for its QEP in writing across the curriculum.
