Good Seats Available for Ashland University’s Annual Holiday Tradition
Good seats are still available for Ashland University’s Madrigal Feaste, a popular annual holiday celebration, which runs from Dec. 2-6 at 6:30 p.m., in Ashland University’s Redwood Hall.
The Madrigal Feaste is a dinner theater with entertainment before, during and after dinner. It is designed to suggest the time of Queen Elizabeth I of England, roughly around 1600. The entertainment is primarily musical, with several theatrical events providing a framework.
The Ashland University Chamber Singers perform Christmas carols, ceremonial music and madrigals. The Madrigal Players present a new play each year and entertain during dinner and throughout the evening. The cast wears costumes designed as authentic reconstructions of period apparel. The Feaste includes a four-course meal culminating in flaming bread pudding. Vegetarian meals are available upon request.
Celebrate the holidays with Ashland University’s Madrigal Feaste. Tickets are $25 for adults, seniors and Ashland University faculty/staff; $15 for children under 12; and $22 for groups of 10 or more. The special Ashland University student rate for Wednesday only is $11.
