Ashland University’s Office of Admission to Hold Ice Cream Socials

The Ashland University Office of Admission is holding three ice cream socials this summer to give prospective students an opportunity to “get the scoop” on the University.

“We have added these Ice Cream Socials as an additional opportunity for families to see the Ashland University campus and learn about all that we have to offer here at Ashland,” said Thomas Mansperger, director of the Office of Admission at Ashland University. “Families will have an opportunity to mingle with the Office of Admission Staff, current students and the families of other prospective students.”

Mansperger explained that the Ice Cream Socials are meant to allow prospective students a casual first look at Ashland University. “Coaches and faculty will not be available at these events, but there will be plenty of ice cream,” he said.

The events are set for July 9 at 12:30 p.m., July 23 at 12:30 p.m. and Aug. 16 at 12:30 p.m. and all three will be held in the Schar College of Education on the Ashland University campus.
