Ashland University’s Golf Duo Best in Division II in Team Championship
Ashland University’s Annie Miles and Erin Misheff, members of the women’s golf team, were the best in Division II at the inaugural Hooters Women’s Collegiate Team Championship this past week at Achasta By Reynolds in Georgia.
The duo shot 4 over par 291 over three days in alternate-shot, best-ball and stroke-play formats to finish 16th overall in the 53-team field, tying with a team from Ole Miss. A team from Wake Forest won the tournament. Two other members of Ashland University’s golf team, Melanie Fortner and Elisa Leonard, took 48th with a 335.
