Residence Hall Wireless Update

Information Technology is working with several vendors to provide options for full wireless coverage in the residence halls. Currently there is limited wireless in the common areas of the halls, but this is antiquated and unable to keep up with the growing wireless demands in the halls. The plan (which is contingent on funding) involves a wireless assessment/audit for the residence halls to fully determine the scope of the project and costs and then contracting with a vendor to install wireless in the residence halls that will meet our current and future needs. More information will be provided as these plans progress and funding is identified.
