The new software suites from Microsoft are available and you are encouraged to download the software to your personal computer (not Ashland University-owned computer) at the http://ashland.onthehub.com website. Starting in January we will start putting Office 2010 and Office 2011 on University computers issued to faculty and staff on an “as-requested” basis. Please call the Technical Support Center (ext. 5405) or submit a ticket at http://ashland.edu/it/helpdesk-step1.php and we will contact you to install the software. Please note that the Information Technology Support Group will start offering training later in the spring semester so support on MS Office 2010 and 2011 will be limited. A full rollout is planned for this summer when the majority of the University systems will be upgraded to this version of the Office suite.
