Spring Break Projects

There were several major projects planned for the week of Spring Break:

• Wireless installed in Clayton Hall -

  Students now have access to the wireless network from their rooms and other locations in the residence hall. This is the start of a major wireless network installation that will continue over the summer.

• The renovation of the Technical Support Center -

  The addition of two more customer service windows as well as other improvements began this week. Thanks to the hard work of our fine Facilities Management and Planning staff, the bulk of the work has been completed and we able to handle walk up customers more efficiently.

• Other Projects -

  Spring Break also saw planning for the Web Portal, renovation of the technology in the Ronk Lecture Hall (delayed a few days because of a delay in parts) and staff training at the annual Drupal conference.

It was a very productive Spring Break.
