Information Technology is often asked when accounts for students and employees are created. There are generally two requirements for accounts to be created and both must be met before the accounts are available for use:
Students – Must be admitted to the University/issued an Ashland University ID number AND a deposit must be on record in Datatel
Faculty – Must be entered into Datatel by Human Resources/issued an Ashland University ID number AND be listed as the instructor for a class in Datatel
Staff – Must be entered into Datatel by Human Resources/ issues an Ashland University ID number AND the supervisor sends a request to Information Technology to have the account created
