Lecture Capture (EDUCAUSE, 2008 and EmergingEdTech, 2010)

Lecture Capture is the ability to record a live lecture and make it available online for review by students at a later time. We use this technology to some extent on main campus with Mediasite by Sonic Foundry but this technology will be a standard feature in all classrooms at the new Schar College of Nursing. As the popularity of this technology grows, it is important to understand the purpose, advantages and challenges associated with it.
