Blackboard Announces Continued Support for Angel

There were many recent announcements from Blackboard (owner of the ANGEL learning management system used at Ashland University). Blackboard announced that they will support the ANGEL system “indefinitely” beyond October of 2014 (http://www.blackboard.com/About-Bb/News-Center/Press-Releases.aspx?releaseid=1676733). This is great news for the Ashland University community and allows us to fully evaluate options for our next learning management system while at the same time bringing services online with the Datatel Portal (MyAU) that may impact the non-academic uses of that ANGEL system such as community groups.
