Office of Admissions Deadline for Enrollment Deposit is May 1
Ashland University’s Office of Admissions is reminding all newly accepted undergraduate students that May 1 is the priority deadline for the enrollment deposit for fall semester 2012-2013. A $300 enrollment deposit is required for full-time undergraduate students and this amount is fully applicable to first semester tuition charges. The deposit is refundable to those who do not enroll as long as the enrollment is canceled in writing prior to May 1, 2012.
For students who are admitted after May 1, the $300 enrollment deposit is due two weeks after notification of formal admission.
W.C. Vance, director of admissions at Ashland University, said more than half of the students in Ashland’s incoming class already have paid their enrollment deposits.
“We want to push the calls to action that really benefit the student,” Vance said. “Paying your enrollment deposit by May 1 guarantees the student admission into the freshman class, it locks in the student’s freshman scholarship and it gives the student priority orientation registration and residence hall assignment.”
Vance said Ashland students wanting to pay the enrollment deposit can do so online by logging into the Eagles Landing webpage or by sending a check to the Office of Admissions, 401 College Ave., Ashland, Ohio 44805.
