There will be a scheduled outage of the ANGEL Learning Management Suite on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 7:30 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. The system will be upgraded from ANGEL version 7.4 to latest and most recent release, Version 8.
ANGEL services will not be available while the new version is being installed. This upgrade provides Faculty, Staff and Students with all new features, such as:
- Google Chrome and Apple Safari Support (this does not include mobile Safari on the iPad and iPhone).
- Grading rubrics for Discussion Forums
- Submission Date on Drop Boxes
All of your existing coursework, grade books, student submissions, and tracking reports will remain intact.
We have been preparing our system for a smooth transition, and we have been in communication with ANGEL Learning to ensure that our system is ready for this upgrade. We are conducting this update during the day so we have the ability to utilize ANGEL Learning’s support if needed.
There will be Mediasite videos available for both students and faculty via the ANGEL Homepage to help serve as an introduction to the upgraded system.
