Self-Service Password Reset Tool – Over 3,000 Enrolled

Since the start of the semester enrollment in the self-service password reset tool has increased from about 700 to over 3,000. We thank the members of the Ashland University community that have actively participated in this initiative, and we invite others who have not enrolled to do so in order to be able to reset your password should you be unable to remember it or if it has expired.

Active Directory passwords (used to log into a workstation on campus) expire 360 days from the day the password is changed. Faculty and staff whose password will expire before Sept 1st will receive an email from “IT Communications” with their password expiration date and complete instructions on how to change their password. The instructions for enrolling in the Self Service Password Reset tool and changing your password can be found at http://www.ashland.edu/operations/information-technology/get-help-forms/self-service-password-reset-tool. Changing your Active Directory password will also update your Gmail/Google Apps, ANGEL, EagleWeb, KBox and e-Academy passwords.
