AU Family Weekend Set for Sept. 28-30

Family Weekend 2012 promises to be full of fun and excitement! Activities that appeal to all families are planned. Your time can be spent visiting the campus, cheering on the Eagles, mingling with the President, taking in a theatre production or participating in several of our other fun activities!

While event reservations are not required, we ask that you let us know if you are attending by registering at www.ashland.edu/parents or by filling out the enclosed reservation form found on the brochure explaining the activities for the weekend. Access the brochure at:
http://www.ashland.edu/documents/pdf/2012-family-weekend-brochure
Registering will allow us to better prepare for the day’s events.

We look forward to making the Ashland University family spirit a more integral part of your family. The Office of Alumni & Parent Relations strives to meet the needs of Ashland parents and address various issues that are of importance to our students' well-being.

"Accent on the Individual" is truly a family experience. Whether you are local or long distance, we welcome your involvement with the University. We want to make sure you are pleased with your student's choice as we are with having them as an Ashland University Student.

As a parent of an Ashland student, you are automatically enrolled as a member of the Ashland University Parents Association. The governing body of the AUPA is the Executive Committee and is comprised of representatives from each of the four academic classes. They serve as a liaison between Ashland University parents, students, faculty, staff and administration. Together with this association, our office will continue to build and expand upon programs that will benefit Ashland students and their families. Currently, the AUPA is involved with Orientation, Family Weekend and the Parents Project.

We look forward to meeting and welcoming you to our Ashland Family!

Ashland University, ranked in the top 200 colleges and universities in U.S. News and World Report’s National Universities category for 2012, is a mid-sized, private university conveniently located a short distance from Akron, Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio.
