myAU Web Portal - Update -

Decisions and progress continue to be made concerning the organization and layout of the myau.ashland.edu portal during this implementation stage. New areas are available to explore for faculty and staff alike. A big “Thanks!” to Boris Kerkez for his continuing work on the Faculty Senate and subcommittee areas and development of a Faculty Senate team site within the myAU portal. These committee sites can be found listed at the bottom right of the Faculty/Staff page in the “Other” category.

It is also worth reiterating, with the decommissioning of EagleWeb in December of 2012, it is imperative that those departments and areas with important content housed there to make arrangements to migrate critical elements to relevant areas of myAU. Faculty and staff have been contacted by Portal Implementation and Governance team members to help identify and fill in unpopulated areas of the portal. After December all content on EagleWeb will be archived and taken offline. If you have any concerns regarding content in EagleWeb, feel free to contact Terrance Henry, Director of Portal and Collaboration Services (thenry@ashland.edu) for additional guidance.
 

Please note that that formalized myAU portal training is being developed and is scheduled to be online starting later in October. Additional information will be provided as the training nears completion.
