9/27/12 ASHLAND, Ohio - As part of Homecoming weekend at Ashland University, renowned comedian Jeff Dye will take the stage for a night of fun and laughs. The comedy show will take place on Oct. 12 at 8 p.m. in Redwood Hall.
Dye began his stand-up comedy career at the Giggles Comedy Club, in his hometown of Seattle, Wash. In 2008, he took third place in the sixth season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing and since then, he’s been living his dream touring clubs and colleges across the country.
He was selected for the prestigious “Just for Laughs” comedy festivals in both Montreal and Chicago, and has been seen on “NESN Comedy All-Stars,” Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” and on the TBS “Very Funny Show.”
Since 2011, Dye has become a designer on “Extreme Makeover Home Edition” and most recently started hosting his very own show on MTV called “Money from Strangers.”
This comedy show is sponsored by Ashland University’s Campus Activities Board (CAB) and Tech Crew. Tickets for the event are $10 for general admission, $8 for Ashland University faculty and staff, and $2 for Ashland University students with I.D.
