The Coming Revolution?

There was considerable discussion at the annual EDUCAUSE concerning MOOCs (Massively Open Online Courses) and the change that this educational delivery format introduces to the higher education marketplace. The link below is from one of the many presentations concerning MOOCs but this one is of particular interest because it was given by Daphne Koller (Stanford Professor and Co-founder of Coursera) and Brian Voss (CIO from Univ. of Maryland). The video is about 55 minutes long with Daphne speaking and highlighting some very interesting information about MOOCs and student trends. Brian's part starts at about 25 minutes and highlights some important aspects of MOOCs with Coursea and how to get started quickly.
