  • Ashland University to Offer French Film Festival

    The Ashland University Department of Foreign Languages, the French Club and Sigma Phi Iota are hosting its first Tournées French Film Festival. The festival will feature five recent feature films on five consecutive Thursday evenings at 8 p.m. from Oct. 7 to Nov. 4 in the Hawkins-Conard Student Center Auditorium.

    Ashland University’s 2010-2011 Environmental Lecture Series on “Invasive Species” will open on Sept. 30 when Dr. Don Cipollini, professor of biological sciences and director of the environmental sciences Ph.D. program at Wright State University, will speak on “Garlic mustard: Impacts, mechanisms of invasion, and hope for control.”

  • National Review Online Editor to speak at Ashland University

    Jonah Goldberg, editor-at-large for the National Review Online, will speak at Ashland University on Sept. 29. Goldberg will address “Liberalism and the Moral Equivalent of War” as part of the fall 2010 Major Issues Lecture Series presented by the John M. Ashbrook Center for Public Affairs at Ashland University.

  • Ashland University Box Office Now Open For Event Sales

    The Ashland University Central Box Office is now open for campus event sales, Monday through Friday, 12 noon to 6 p.m., and one hour prior to events. In addition to University events, the Box Office sells tickets to all Ashland Symphony Orchestra concerts with the exception of season tickets.
