What's Happening at Ashland University

ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland University alumni and students will be renewing the annual tradition of Homecoming with a full week of activities slated for Sept. 27 through Oct. 2.

Ashland University’s 2010-2011 Environmental Lecture Series on “Invasive Species” will open on Sept. 30 when Dr. Don Cipollini, professor of biological sciences and director of the environmental sciences Ph.D. program at Wright State University, will speak on “Garlic mustard: Impacts, mechanisms of invasion, and hope for control.”

While official numbers will not be available from the registrar’s office until later this semester, it appears that Ashland University boasts one of the largest freshman classes in recent years and continues to bring in better academically qualified students.

The Ashland University Central Box Office is now open for campus event sales, Monday through Friday, 12 noon to 6 p.m., and one hour prior to events. In addition to University events, the Box Office sells tickets to all Ashland Symphony Orchestra concerts with the exception of season tickets.
