Welcome to Public Relations! The staff members of the public relations office are available to assist you in a variety of areas, including publications, marketing, advertising, media relations, photography and special events.

The public relations office works closely with graphic design services and the two areas are responsible for the production and use of the University's institutional logos as well as the design of University publications.

A Publications Policy has been established by the Office of the President and this policy states:

Any Ashland University official publication distributed off campus to alumni and/or other Ashland constituencies must be approved by the public relations office prior to printing. This policy applies to publications which are printed on campus or off campus. This policy excludes AU's student newspaper, literary magazine and yearbook; mass mailings of student correspondences; posters/flyers advertising events on campus; and publications distributed only on campus.

This policy is in place to ensure that the publication text provides a consistent and accurate message and that the look of the publication integrates with other campus publications and maintains the high standards that Ashland University expects to project to the public. The public relations office works with graphic design services as well as printing services to make sure this policy is upheld.

To find out everything you need to know about arranging projects with the public relations office and/or the use of the University name and logo, please visit the Office Guidelines page.
