38th Annual Madrigal Feaste

This dinner theater based on the period of Queen Elizabeth I of England around 1600 includes Christmas carols and madrigals performed by the Ashland University Chamber Singers while the Madrigal Players present a play and other theatrical stunts throughout the evening. The Feaste includes a four-course meal culminating in flaming bread pudding. Vegetarian meals are available UPON REQUEST AT TIME OF RESERVATION.

Tickets for this popular event go on sale Monday, September 23 at Noon, and can be purchased in person at the AU Box Office, by phone at 419.289.5125 or online at www.ashland.edu/tickets. If ordering by phone, please be aware that the line may be extremely busy for at least the first two hours on opening sales day.  To increase your chances of purchasing your preference of seating, it is recommended that you order online (additional fees apply) or arrive early at the AU Box Office in person.

PLEASE NOTE that discounted tickets (i.e., Group) and special requests are not available online and can only be accommodated through the Box Office at 419.289.5125.

Wendy Ruderman, who along with Barbara Laker, won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize in Investigative Reporting for a series they wrote on police corruption for the Philadelphia Daily News, will give a presentation at Ashland University on April 24. The event, set for 7 p.m. in the Ashbrook Center located on the eighth floor of the Library on the AU campus, is sponsored by the departments of History and Political Science and Journalism and Digital Media at Ashland University as well as the AU Honors Program and the Ashbrook Center. The book written by Ruderman and Laker, titled “Busted: A Tale of Corruption and Betrayal in the City of Brotherly Love,” will hit the shelves in March. It is expected to become a N.Y.
