Dr. Paul Cao earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology from China in 2001, and his MS and Doctor degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University, Durham NC in 2003 and 2006, respectively. He joined Ashland University in Fall 2008 following a year in Oberlin College, Oberlin OH and a year in North Carolina Central University, Durham NC. He has taught a variety of computer science and mathematics courses including Computer Programming, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Computer Hardware, Algorithms, Linear Algebra and Statistics. He is interested in research on system biology and the application of mathematics of uncertainty in computational biology. He is a member of Sigma Xi and Society of Mathematics for Uncertainty.
