Environmental Wellness is often times defined as the livability of your surroundings. Personal health depends on the health of the planet and everything in it. From the safety of the food supply to the degree of violence in society, environmental wellness affects all of these areas. Your physical environment either supports or diminishes your wellness. It is important to respect nature and those species within it. You can begin on a path to achieving environmental wellness by simply leading an environmentally conscious life. This can be done by using recycled materials as much as possible, conserving energy by shutting off lights when not in a room or area of work, and attempting to reduce your carbon footprint.
