Classes at the Columbus Center for this evening have been canceled and Seminary classes at the Ashland campus have been canceled for this evening.
Ashland University senior basketball players Kari Daugherty and Evan Yates were featured recently in the NCAA production, NCAA On Campus. Daugherty was the 2011-12 NCAA Divison II player of the year and Yates became the first Ashland University men's player in 20 years to be recognized as an All-America athlete a year ago. The NCAA came to campus to profile both student-athletes.
Ashland University’s political science and history programs require students to read, discuss and write about original documents and texts, including the foundational documents of American government and speeches by the world’s greatest statesmen. The department chair notes that students will delve into the primary sources that actually shaped history and politics – philosophical works, laws, Supreme Court opinions, poems, speeches, religious texts and treaties.
