NOTE: If at any time during this download or installation you receive any error message other than “Access Denied”, please contact the eCampus Tech Support Center by phone at 1-888-396-1447 or by email by clicking “Help” at the top of the web page, “Contact Us” at the bottom of the Help page, and the “Customer Support” in the center of the Contact Us page. Fill out the online form to begin the email process.
Before you begin: you will need the following:
1. You will need to have a DVD BURNER, not just a DVD reader, to complete this installation.
2. You will need DVD/software image/bootable disc burning software, such as IMGBurn. IMGBurn can be found here: http://www.imgburn.com/ . Be sure to burn it as an image disc or bootable disc.
3. You will need to decide if you want Windows 7 Professional or Windows 7 Ultimate. Ultimate has more features such as language packs and customization settings, but it also uses more resources. The edition you choose will determine whether you can do an Upgrade or a Full Install.
a. Upgrade means you will not lose any personal data, files or settings.
b. Full Install means that all of your personal data, files and settings will be lost.
We strongly recommend you back-up all your data regardless of which edition you choose.

9. Enter your network username and password.

18. If you wish to launch the installation of your product at this time, click the Launch button when prompted.
19. The program should run automatically. As the program runs, it should ask you to insert a blank DVD into your DVD burner. If not, skip step 20.
20. If the program does not ask you to burn a DVD, you will need to manually burn the .img file located in the downloaded folder on your desktop to a DVD. You MUST burn this file using DVD/image burning software, such as IMGBurn. Be sure to burn it as an image disc or bootable disc.
21. Once the DVD burn is completed, you will restart your computer. If you want a full install with the disk still in the drive and boot your computer from the disk. If you want an upgrade, you will run the disk without restarting the computer. Be sure to have your Product Key Code available.
NOTE: Any major changes to your operating system, such as this Windows 7 upgrade, will wipe all personalized settings, programs, and files from your computer. Be sure to back up any files you wish to save before running the installer.
22. Once you restart the computer, the disc should automatically start running and begin the install.
23. Follow the on-screen instructions.
24. After following the installation instructions, your computer will restart. You should now have Windows 7 installed on your machine.
