The association for Ashland Parents is governed by an executive committee. Members serve four-year terms to coincide with the graduation of their students. The association offers the opportunity for parents to network in their local areas with other parents and alumni of Ashland University.

Ashland University Parents Board:

These members comprise the Executive Committee of the Ashland University Parents Association, collectively referred to as the Parents Board.

Meetings are held three times per year and coincide with campus events, i.e., Freshman Move-In Day, Family Weekend and AU Mothers/Fathers Day.

The AU Alumni Association has made it possible for AUPA Board Members to receive the Accent Magazine, a quarterly magazine that keeps you informed about campus news, events and people.

Opportunities for service:

Activities: Develop activities and programs for Parents Weekend and other on-campus parent events and assist with parent programming in your local area.

Student Recruitment: Assist the Office of Admission with programming to interest prospective students in attending Ashland University.

Nominating: Develop a pool of qualified candidates for nomination to the Parents Association Executive Committee.

Finance: Develop fundraising programs and raise funds for AUPA projects. Past projects include refurbishing the AU soccer fields and remodeling the 9th floor of Amstutz Hall into an Executive suite. Currently the committee is raising money for scholarships.
