Interesting Classes
- IS 321: Business Spreadsheets — An advanced study of the development and implementation of spreadsheets as applied to business applications, including worksheet design, problem organization and results presentation. The course prepares the student for the Microsoft Office Excel certification exam.
- ACCT 309: Federal Income Taxation of Business Entities — A study of federal income tax law as applied to various forms of business entities, including sole proprietorships, C corporations, S corporations and partnerships.
- ACCT 406: Auditing and Professional Ethics and Responsibilities — A study of auditing principles and procedures including the study of internal control to prevent fraud, the professional ethics and legal responsibilities of the public accountant and the preparation of working papers and reports.
- ACCT 453: Special Topics for Accounting — This course examines various, current topics related to the field of accounting. Because new topics are always arising, students can take this class twice to learn the latest industry practices.

The Richard E. and Sandra J. Dauch College of Business and Economics building, which includes the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurial Studies wing, opened in January 2004. This 60,000-square-foot building serves as the home for business administration, economics and MBA programs and features a state-of-the-art trading room with Wall Street style workstations and wall-mounted displays with market news. The building also includes an executive education center, computer labs, a tiered lecture hall and product development lab.
