Emergency Information

Ashland University has multiple resources to help residential students prepare for and respond to emgerencies.  Information about each of these resources is available here.

Emergency Operations Plan

The university has a detailed Emergency Operations Plan.  That contains information and instructions for several emergency situations that could arise.  You can find the Emergency Operations Plan at Environmental Health and Safety's site.

Emergency Contact System

Members of the campus community can choose to receive instant alerts regarding emergency situations, severe weather advisories, school closings, and major event cancellations.  More information is available through Safety Services on their Emergency Contact System page.

Emergency Information / Evacuation Procedures for Each Residence Hall

Listed here are the quick at-a-glance directions for students for each residence hall.  These contain evacuation information, fire safety guidelines, and the locations of fire extinguishers and fire pull stations.  These sheets are posted throughout each residence hall.  If you find that a particular hall needs additional copies, please contact us and let us know.

NOTE: Diagrams are only available for residential floors of each building.  If the floor is shaded in the following chart, then either the floor does not have any student rooms or the floor does not exist.
