Specialized Living Environments, 2008 - 2009 Academic Year
We are excited to announce a variety of specialized living environments. Some of these are new for the 2008-2009 academic year, while others have been around for a while. More information about the opportunities can be found here.
Fraternity houses and Sorority Suites
Ashland University offers on-campus housing for its Greek students.
- Fraternity houses are located in Fraternity circle next to the intramural fields. Each house has kitchen, living and recreational spaces for the members as well as several bedrooms.
- Sorority suites are located in Clark Hall. Each chapter has a kitchen, dining, and living area as well as several bedrooms.
Greek housing is open to students who have been enrolled at Ashland University for at least one semester and are a part of fraternity or sorority.

Ashbrook Scholars housing
The third floor of Andrews Hall is home to many of the students in the Ashbrook Scholar program, a scholarship program for students studying political science or history. Each year, all of the freshmen in the Scholar program reside on the floor, and there are a limited number of openings for upperclassmen in the program. For more information, contact:

Community Service Floor
Do you love to do community service work and serve others? Well, why not live with other students who love to do the same thing! The Center for Community Service will have separate housing options for both men and women who are interested in living with others who are service oriented. Senior housing in the senior apartments

Senior housing in the senior house
Beginning Fall 2008, the house that currently houses the Servant Leadership program will become the the Senior House. The house is located in Fraternity Circle and currently houses the Servant Leadership program. Some options found in the house are 24-hour visitation, an option for a buy-out, a community kitchen, a large lounge area, a study room and an entertainment room. Senior House residents are required to have a meal plan. However, they are eligible to sign up for the block plan (visit Dining Services for more meal plan information). The House is co-educational and can house up to 38 students. Any student who meets the criteria listed on the application is eligible to apply. For more information, contact:
