New Student Housing

Residence Director: 

Ashley Brightbill

Ashley is a 2005 graduate from AU with a double major in Communication and a minor in business. While at AU, Ashley ran Cross Country & track, was the student activities intern, and also participated in CAB. Ashley is now working on her masters degree in Higher Education Administration at the University of Akron. She is also the Graduate Assistant for Wellness in the Rec Center. When Ashley’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Joey and her family, especially her 2 year old niece, Ameia.  Ashley lives in Jackson Township.

First Floor Resident Assistant

(ARD): 

Katie Matteson

Katie is working on her Intervention Specialist: Mild to Moderate degree.  She is a member of club soccer, RHA (Residential Housing Association), Hall Council, and Newman Catholic Ministries.  Her interests include soccer, church, family, and friends.  Katie is from Ashland, Ohio.

Second Floor Resident Assistant:

Sarah Parker

Sarah is working on two education degrees: Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Intervention Specialist.  She is also minoring in Religion and Child Development and Care.  She is involved with Religious Life, RHA, and Hall Council.  Her interests inlude reading, church, and being around people.  Sarah is from Centerville, Ohio.

Third Floor Resident Assistant:  

Aja Rendek

Aja is a Speech Communication major and Marketing minor.  She is a memeber of PPOW (Peers Promoting Organized Wellness).  Her interests include music and reading.  Aja is from Madison, Ohio.

Fourth Floor Resident Assistant: 

Kelly Todd

Kelly is a Chemistry Education major.  She is a member of club soccer and an Intramural official/scorekeeper.  Her interests include playing card games and board games, sports, puzzles, and traveling.  Kelly is from Dresden, Ohio.

Fifth Floor Resident Assistant: 

Chelsea Kamp

Chelsea is working on her degree in Foods and Nutrition.  She is a member of Delta Zeta, her sorority, PPOW, FCS Club, and Intramurals.  She is also a rec center employee.  Her interests include reading, relaxing, working-out, and scrapbooking.  Chelsea is from Leo, Indiana.
