Hello! My name is Jennifer McElwain and I am the Admissions Representative for students seeking Accelerated Nursing; Advanced Entry Nursing; RN to BSN; School Nurse Licensure and Gerontology Certificate Programs at Ashland University's Schar College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
As a traditional undergraduate student, I became an RN through the Mansfield General School of Nursing, which is now Ashland University's College of Nursing. As a non-traditional student, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration as an accelerated student. I intimately understand the questions and concerns that you may be facing by making a decision to return to college. The thought of juggling family, finances, coursework, employment, and the like, can be very overwhelming-but it can be done! Let me assure you that Nursing is a wonderful, rewarding career that offers many choices for you to tailor your career to align with your passions and interests.
