Christian Pascarella is the director of the Master of Arts program in American History and Government. Chris joined Ashland in 2008 to assist with the management of the rapidly growing master's program. He became director in 2011. He is the primary contact for current and prospective students for all administrative or admissions related issues.
Prior to arriving at the university, he taught Advanced Placement United States History in Boca Raton, Florida for eleven years. During that time, he was involved with the planning and development of the School District of Palm Beach County's Advanced Placement curriculum framework for AP US History and with the training of the district's AP teachers. He also served as a College Board AP reader for four years.
Chris resides in Ashland with his wife and two children.
