Dr. Nick Regan, Ph.D., is an adjunct professor of chemistry and joined Ashland University in 2011. He received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Ohio University in 2006 and a Ph.D. in pharmacy with a specialization in medicinal chemistry from The Ohio State University in 2011. Dr. Regan’s research focuses in on the synthesis and optimization of small molecule protein activators and inhibitors for the development of therapeutics. Dr. Regan has been interested and involved in teaching since his undergraduate days at Ohio University. He teaches a variety of courses in the chemistry field. He is also active in many extracurricular activities (rugby, basketball, football, wrestling, and fishing). Dr. Regan looks forward to his interactions with future students and fellow faculty and staff members here at Ashland University.
