Commuter Services Gives Me Gas! (NEW PROGRAM)
Are you an AU commuter student? Have you done something great on campus? Have you made a difference in the AU or Ashland community? You could be rewarded for your hard work!!! If you feel that you have done an outstanding deed or anything notable that you think deserves mentioning, please let us know by completing the Commuter Services Gives Me Gas form and return it to the Student Activities Office (2nd Floor HCSC) or by e-mailing it to Jennifer Washock at jwashock@ashland.edu by the last day of each month. Our first deadline is Tuesday, September 30, 2008.
Following that date, the initial monthly selection process will begin! Each month, a commuter will be highlighted for his/her achievements and also receive a $25 gas card! Some notable examples worthy of this spectacular prize include, but are not limited to:
- Student organization(s) involvement
- Leadership role in student organization(s)
- Recent receipt of other honor(s) and/or award(s)
- Community leadership/service
- Athletic achievement(s)
- Academic excellence
Meet & Eat
"Meet & Eat" is an interactive networking opportunity to meet your fellow commuter students, eat (free) pizza and then go to an event on campus as a group. It's a great way to meet people! All "Meet & Eat" networking opportunities begin an hour before the event begins in the Eagles' Nest and then we are off to the show. Bring the family - it's a great time!
