The Northeast Ohio Teacher Education Day (NOTED) allows candidates for teaching jobs to meet with school systems from around the country who have open teaching positions to fill.
Ashland University students who are eligible to teach in Fall of 2014 are strongly encouraged to attend. By participating in the Northeast Ohio Teacher Education Day, Ashland University students will have an opportunity to meet representatives from school systems in Ohio and around the country.
|7:30 a.m.||Doors open.|
|7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.||Registration and orientation.|
|8:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.||Candidate pre-screening and open networking. During this time, school districts will invite candidates to schedule interviews for later in the day.|
|11 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.||Lunch or Interviewing time (at the school districts' option)|
|11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.||Interviewing times, as arranged by the school districts. Interview times are usually 20 minutes.|
Registration is not required for NOTED 2014. Please simply come to the John S. Knight Center on the day of the event. You may be asked to show your resume to prove that you are affiliated with Ashland University.
Please note that the introductory videos below say that students will be required to show a red ticket to enter, but there will not be red tickets this year.
