Modern Language Track
Elementary and Intermediate-Level Language Courses/Proficiency (0-12 hours)
Ashland University students may fulfill their GPS institutional graduation requirement with the modern language track (0-12 hours depending on placement).
• through completion of Intermediate II level of foreign language – SPAN 272 and FRENCH 252.
Language Studies options are also available within the Global Studies Track.
Correct placement for all options is crucial for Ashland University students’ academic success. Placement is determined by the number of years of high school study and two of the following three placement indicators: GPA, ACT and WebCape score.
