2010 Destinations:
FCS Italian Design: Fashion & Food
Spring Break, March 5 - 13, 2010
Traveling to Italy will provide students with the opportunity to experience one culture in depth i.e., with a focus on either the foods or the fashions of the area. To prepare, students will complete the course paper on an Italian topic to be further researched in Italy. Faculty Directors: Dr. Deborah Sullivan & Prof. Eileen Ptacek.
Germany Program
May 10 - June 5, 2010
Students live in Wittenberg, Germany for three weeks and take two Ashland University classes taught by Ashland University professors. Faculty Director: Dr. Mitchell Metzger.
London 2010
June 29 - July 13, 2010
Students will live in London, England for three weeks and have the opportunity to study Education 788: Inquiry Seminar in Education. Faculty Director: Dr. Rosaire Ifedi.
Colonization of Our Nation's Beginnings in New England
June 20-24, 2010
This study tour is designed to help secondary social studies and language arts teachers create an interdisciplinary experience that can be used in their classrooms. Faculty Directors: Dr. David Kommer & Dr. Carl Walley.
