The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is comprised of men from each of the chapters on campus and hold offices within the Council that provide services to the Greek community throughout the academic year. The purpose of the Interfraternity Council is to govern the fraternity community and to promote high scholastic, social, philanthropic, and cultural environments for the benefit of the fraternity system and its members.
IFC provides educational, service, and social programming to the Greek community. One of the large events IFC co-sponsors with the Panhellenic Council is Greek Week. Greek Week occurs at the end of each spring semester and is a week of events to foster unity and friendly competition. IFC also runs fall formal recruitment. Recruitment week 2011 is September 18-24 and provides interested students the opportunity to meet men from all three of the fraternities on campus: Phi Delta Theta, Phi Kappa Psi, and Tau Kappa Epsilon. To learn more about each chapter, please visit their webpage.
