Ashland University has Gone Green
Ashland University has joined the trend among forward-thinking colleges and universities of pursuing a commitment to reduce the campus’ environmental impact. Already, Ashland has taken steps such as:
- Setting back the thermostat campus-wide
- Collecting vegetable waste for use by local hog farmers
- Adopting a recycling program that cuts the amount of waste the campus sends to landfills
- And that’s just the start of our plans.
Ashland University strives to continue its commitment to be green. We hope to educate students in order to help them adopt a personal lifestyle that is more environmentally friendly. Together, we can make a difference for good.
