Flu Vaccination

Flu vaccine is available and provided free of charge to full time employees (faculty and staff) and to students. Employee flu shots will be offered beginning Monday, September 17 and student flu shots will be offered beginning Monday, September 24. No appointment is necessary and flu shots are available between 8am and 11:45 and between 1pm and 4:45 all week, except on Wednesday afternoons. Employees are asked to reserve their dose ahead of time.

Getting vaccinated is the best way to avoid getting the H1N1.

The 2012 seasonal flu vaccination contains vaccine for three viruses:

• Influenza A, H1N1
• Influenza A, H3N2
• Influenza B, 2010-like virus
