ORIENTATION WEEKEND (Friday, August 16th - Sunday, August 18th)
THE PROGRAM
During Orientation Weekend (O-Weekend), Ashland University will become your home away from home. With activities and programs throughout the week, you will create friendships with your peers and become better acclimated with the campus. The weekend begins on Friday, August 16th with new student move-in from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
During O-Weekend., you will have the opportunity to:
- Move into your residence hall, if living on campus, and get settled (Friday, August 16th)
- Purchase textbooks or pick up reserved textbooks
- Attend the Farewell Dinner with your parents
- Meet your O-Teamer and peers in your Accent on Success/ HONs 101 class
- Attend Residence Life, Campus Activities Board, and Commuter Services activities
- Attend Five Stones Community Church Service
- Participate in a community service project with your peers
- Enjoy a personalized campus tour and find your classroom locations
- Attend your academic meeting and meet faculty in your major
- Attend the Kick-Off Picnic and Involvement Fair

WELCOME DINNER RSVP
We invite incoming students and parents to a casual Welcome Dinner (optional) on Move In Day, Friday, August 16. Each student can reserve up to three complimentary tickets; any additional guests are $10 each. Reservations for the preferred dinner time are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets will be available for pick-up when you check-in at your assigned hall that day. Please RSVP no later than Friday, August 9th.
