Ashland University's Dwight Schar College of Education, one of the largest among independent institutions in Ohio, offers many degree and licensure programs for those just beginning their careers or current professionals who want to expand their career opportunities.

Undergraduate degree and Post-Baccalaureate (Bachelor's Plus) licensure programs include:

Accreditation
The Dwight Schar College of Education is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) at the basic and advanced levels through 2009. Approval to offer the Master of Education degree was granted by the Ohio Board of Regents in 1975. Approval for offering certification for the Master of Education degree was granted by the Ohio Department of Education in 1976. Additionally, licensure and endorsement programs are approved by the Ohio Department of Education.
