Important Dates

When	What to do to receive financial aid on time
January	Federal PIN - Have your PIN ready. If you need a PIN, apply at www.pin.ed.gov.
February	FAFSA - File FAFSA by March 15 priority date. If possible, student and parent(s) should complete federal income tax forms before filing FAFSA.
March	Incoming student award letters will be mailed beginning March 1. Review your award on WebAdvisor.
April	Returning students will receive notice through Ashland University email that the award is ready to review on WebAdvisor.
May	Loans - All students should review Stafford Loan processes and complete steps if necessary. Submit additional paperwork or send requested tax forms to the Financial Aid Office.
June	Loans - If you or your parents are borrowing loans (Perkins, Alternative or Parent PLUS), complete required processes. Monthly Payment Plan - If a 10-month payment plan is needed, apply with Tuition Management Systems.
July	Fall Semester Bill - Watch for your bill in early July. Payment is due in early August.
August	Move In! - Students who have completed all financial aid processes and have the remaining bill settled prior to arriving on campus will receive a housing authorization and will not have to wait in line in the Business Office.
