Professors Who Mentor Students
JDM Faculty work individually with you, teaching you the latest digital media creation tools and making sure you master the techniques needed to succeed in today's converging media world.
At Ashland University, professors teach all classes and labs, not graduate students or teaching assistants.
Classes average 8-12 students.
Gain Real World Experience
Every JDM major is required to complete 100 hours of internship in media. Students work at radio or television stations, TV networks, video production houses and in corporate video and marketing departments. Ashland professors help students apply for these internships and monitor student progress. These "real world" experiences are essential tools in starting a career in media. Many of our student interns secure paid positions at these organizations upon completion of their internship.
